The Verdanii Dawnborns were proud individuals who carried the lineage of the First Dawn. The Dawnborns lived in the grand district of High Verdania and conquered the higher echelon of the Verdanii Society.

500 years ago, Verdant I rallied various tribes all across Morbidia to fight a war against the Dead. After their triumph against the Dead during Vitadie, the valour of those tribes were immortalised. These tribes became ‘The First Dawn’. Together with Verdant, the First Dawn formed a nation known as Verdania. As the nation grew, the descendants of the First Dawn became the nation’s aristocrats. These proud individuals, who carried the lineage of the First Dawn, called themselves the Dawnborns.

When Verdania fell from the sky, the curse on Lucien Verdant (Verdant VII) cursed the Dawnborns into blood-sucking creatures. Those who became consumed by their own pride turned into Horrors of Morbidia. Their lavish lifestyle continued, and their subjugation became targetted towards the Living, as many would rear Livings in their household so that they could harvest their blood. In their death, the Dawnborns, now deemed to be ‘The Last Dawn’, continued to rule the upper echelon of the ruins.
